چکیده

Extensions of the Standard Model of elementary particle physics to noncommu-tative geometries are proposed by string models. Independent of this motivation, one may consider such a model as an effective field theory with higher-dimensional operators containing an antisymmetric rank-2 background field. We study the signals of such a Noncommutative Standard Model (NCSM) and analyze the discovery potential of fermion pair production at a future photon collider. The interest in noncommutative (NC) theories has been growing dramatically in recent years due to the observation that open string theories with constant antisymmetric rank-2 tensor fields can be interpreted as Yang-Mills theories living on a NC manifold 1. Independent from this motivation, NC Quantum Field Theory in itself provides an interesting approach in introducing a fundamental length scale and cutting off short-distance contributions, consistent with the symmetries of a given model. Recently, there has been a lot of effort in constructing an Effective Field Theory (EFT) which is defined on a NC spacetime with a canonical structure

Testing the Noncommutative Standard Model at a Future Photon Collider

Extensions of the Standard Model of elementary particle physics to noncommutative geometries have been proposed as a low energy limit of string models. Independent of this motivation, one may consider such a model as an effective field theory with higher-dimensional operators containing an antisymmetric rank-two background field. We study the signals of such a Noncommutative Standard Model (NCS...

ضریب گشتاور مغناطیسی لپتون باردار در فضا- زمان ناجابه‌جایی

The g-factor of the charged leptons has always been considered by many physicists, both experimentaly as well as theoretically. In fact the electron and muon g-factor play the main role in testing the QED as well as the standard model. Meanwhile, there is a discrepancy between the standard model prediction of the muon anomalies magnetic moment and its experimental determination as large as (25...

Singlet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space

In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered,  but our information about  the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as  scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...

Photon - Photon Collisions at the Next Linear Collider : Theory

The collisions of photons at a high energy electron-positron collider provide a comprehensive laboratory for testing QCD, electroweak interactions, and extensions of the standard model. It is expected that by using back-scattered laser beams, that the effective luminosity and, energy of photon-photon collisions will be comparable to that of the primary c+e-collisions. In this talk, I will focus...

Physics Possibilities at a Photon Linear Collider*

With the convergence of linear collider and laser technology, a new type of facility may soon be made available for research in fundamental particle physics: a Photon Linear Collider where high energy photon beams, produced by the Compton backscattering of laser photons off linac electrons, are brought into collision with electron beams or with other photon beams. Control over both the spectral...
